After you decide who you wish to employ you will have to obtain
a Work Permit for him/her. In order to apply for a work permit
you first would need to advertise your vacancies at FAS. According
to the Irish legislation you have to wait one month until you
are ready to prove your efforts to fill the vacancy locally. After
one month you will receive certain papers from FAS allowing you
to recruit outside the Republic of Ireland and the EU.
After you got the FAS decision we will send you the Work Permit
papers filled on the behalf of the proposed employee. The only
thing you have to do next is to fill the blank fields and to send
it, along with the paperwork from FAS, to the Department of Enterprise,
Trade and Employment. Usually the procedure for obtaining a Work
Permit takes between 30 and 45 working days.
After the Work Permit is issued the only thing left is applying
for working visa.
Since there is no Irish Embassy in Bulgaria the visa must be
obtained in Dublin. There are two ways of applying for visa:
-
If the visa papers are being sent via post
the procedure takes between 3 and 5 weeks.
-
If the papers are being submitted in the
Visa Office in Dublin from the employer or his/her representative
the visa can be ready the same day.
That’s why we strongly recommend the second way.
You will receive everything needed for obtaining a working visa
from us. The only thing you have to do is to submit the documents.
Last but not least - You can count on our applicants for a
longer period of time (one or more years). That's the reason why
it is worth all the waiting!!!
Here is a list of all the documentation for obtaining a Work
Permit or a Working Visa for a Non EU Citizen.
